The best ten days of the year are here. According to Makkah, 1st of Dhul Hijja, 1433, falls on Wednesday, October 17, 2012, waAllahu a3lam. Please check www.islamway.com for more information on the virtues of these days.

Here are a few reminders:
Allaah swears an oath by them, and swearing an oath by something is indicative of its importance and great benefit. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “By the dawn; by the 10 nights” [al-Fajr 89:1-2]. Ibn Abbaas, Ibn al-Zubayr, Mujaahid and others of the earlier and later generations said that this refers to the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah. On behalf of the Worcester Islamic Center, we wish you and your family a blessed Ramadan. The first day of Ramadan 1433 AH has been confirmed based on official moon sighting in Makkah to be tomorrow, Friday, July 20, 2012 . This means tonight is the first night of Taraweeh prayers.
