I’d like to thank everybody for making our first archery session such a success, especially the Khreims for allowing us to use their yard for the course. I’m happy to say that due to the response I’ve been getting I will be accepting enrollments for a second week of archery from Monday, July 25 to Friday, July 29 and the weekend of July 30 – 31.
There will be three new sessions available:
The first is a beginner’s session for new students who have previously taken archery or have never shot a bow. This class will be from 9:00am to 11:00am. $100 per person. (Maximum 12 Archers)

The bus will be leaving the WIC at 5:00am sharp. Plan to board the bus at 4:30am

Due to high tide, the deep sea fishing trip has been postponed to June 12th.
There are 8 spots still left!
Check out the pictures taken during the trip before turning back.
Activity: 4 on 4 full-court basketball season with 8-11 players per team. 6 teams max-10 regular season games each team, All-Star game, Top 4 teams (records) in Playoffs, and Championship game. Games will be timed and refereed (1 certified ref). Stats will be recorded and posted online. Teams will have an assigned coach to handle substitutions and play calling. There will be group practices with a paid trained/certified coach once a week before games during the regular season.

During the last 10 days of Ramadan, the WIC held an I’tikaf for individuals who wanted to spend the night at the masjid inbetween late-night Taraweeh prayers and early-morning Qiyam prayers.
Like any I’tikaf, when you get a group of Muslim Brothers together, the results are usually photo-worthy.
Some people wonder why Muslims are some of the most fascinating individuals.
The answer to that is easy:
We work while we sleep.
We also think while we sleep.
As you see, most of us start thinking at a very young age.
Some of our younger prodigy are already mastering the art of extraction.

By the grace of Allah, the Worcester Islamic Center has recently successfully hosted this program offered by AlMaghrib Institute through the dedicated efforts from the students and volunteers of Banu Bustaan. The class had over 100 attendees for two weekends, along with lunch and refreshments. What a beautiful way to recharge and re-energize your soul and your spiritual connection to our Messenger!
