Certain anti-Muslim groups have started a campaign asking their supporters to go to their local post office branches and object to the re-issuing of the Eid Stamp. A number of factors go into making a decision to re-issue a stamp. One important factor is the popularity of the stamp in question.

We request that you go to your local post office prior to January 22, 2012 and purchase the Forever Eid Stamp. The Forever Eid Stamp can be used for first class mail and can be used despite price changes. Note that on Jan 22 the cost of postage is set to increase, so if you buy Eid Stamps in bulk you can save money on the long run.  And if you can afford it, why not buy Eid stamps for friends, co-workers, and family as a gift? Kid’s Basketball Season 2

Activity: 4 on 4 full-court basketball games with 7 minimum players per team. Games are 48 minutes long. 6 teams max and 10 regular season games each team plus All-Star game, Playoffs, and Championship game. Games will be timed and refereed. Stats (points, rebounds and assists) will be recorded. Photos taken during games and most games will be filmed.

Prizes, Awards, and Perks: Each player on winning team will get a Varsity Jacket. T-shirts and medals for 2nd place team. Lots of awards will be given (such as MVP and etc.). Featuring a trip to the NBA Hall of Fame, Community Day and Basketball Camp.

Requirements: $150 per player registration fee (includes reversible jersey and shorts). Open to all Muslim and non-Muslim males ages 11-17. Deadline to register a team or join a team and pay registration fee is Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 7pm.
