Call for Prayers

MEMBERS OF ISLAMIC CENTERS IN THE GREATER WORCESTER AREA CALL FOR PRAYERS FOR THE SCHOOL SHOOTING VICTIMS

The executive committee and the members of the Islamic Society of Greater Worcester on 57 Laurel St. (ISGW) and Worcester Islamic Center on 248 East Mountain St. (WIC) call for a communal prayer for the student shooting victims of the High School in Parkland Florida.

We join in the sorrow and grief that the families and friends of the student victims are immersed in.

We call on the law enforcement and elected officials to put effective measures in place to prevent this kind of massacre to happen again.

We pay special tribute to the teachers and coach Aaron Feis, the human shield who made the ultimate sacrifice in saving many lives.

We shall offer special prayers for the victims and pray for the solace for their family and friends in our congregational Friday prayers between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM on Friday 2/16/2018.
